Biography

Dr. Rosemary Fullerton, has been a faculty member at Utah State University in the School of Accountancy (SOA) since 1998. She completed her Ph.D. in 1998 at the University of Utah in managerial accounting. Prior to her doctoral studies, she taught as an accounting instructor for USU. She has also taught at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, the University of Utah, and Weber State University. Her main teaching responsibility for the SOA is in intermediate financial accounting. She was the SOA Teacher of the Year in 2003 and 2004, and the SOA Researcher of the Year in 2003. She has published in top accounting and operations journals, as well as presented her research at universities and national and international refereed conferences. She received the 2004 Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing Research, and has won national honors for her student manuscripts. Dr. Fullerton is a certified public accountant in the state of Utah. Prior to her academic career, she worked for three years at the public accounting firm of Davis and Bott in Brigham City, Utah. She serves on the BAM Council of the Utah Association of CPAs, and is a member of the American Accounting Association, Institute of Management Accountants, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
