Contribution to HSB core requirements and USU University Studies Program
- Based on teacher/course evaluations and student surveys/exit interviews, the department has placed an emphasis on assigning only the most appropriate (in terms of aptitude and experience) instructors to its introductory courses that are part of the HSB core and/or university studies requirements (i.e., ECN1500, 2010, and 3400; FIN3400).
- Based on discussion with students and faculty, the content of ECN3400 (International Economics for Business) has been evaluated and changed.
- Based on student interviews, student surveys and discussions with faculty, the offering of economics courses has been dramatically narrowed and the finance curriculum is currently under review.
