Biography

Barry received a bachelor's degree in finance from Utah State University in 1986 and his MBA from Oregon State University in 1988. His career has spanned various industries and continents, from retail to real estate and sports marketing. He has lived and worked in Japan, China and Europe and lived from 2000 to 2007 in Australia, heading up expansion efforts as managing director, Asia/Pacific for both American Golf Corporation and ClubCorp. In 2007 he completed a management buy-out of ClubCorp's Australian division, which included several companies and golf resorts. He is currently a director of Global Sports Pty Ltd, which owns golf related properties in Australia. Barry and his wife, Shirley, are the parents of five children.
