The knowledge and skills acquired through involvement in BAP are valuable in preparing students for careers in accounting and other financial services. The benefits of membership in BAP are clear. Members are prepared for careers in Finance and Accounting and develop a network of professionals to learn from. Being a member of BAP shows recruiters, from firms and industry, that you are at the top of your class and that you are able to effectively manage time between school and extracurricular activities.
Many BAP events put you in situations to meet and network with a wide variety of companies, which gives you an edge when the time comes to interview for internships and full-time employment. Important skills are developed such as; leadership, team-work, communication, time management, and professionalism.
