Biography

After a pivotal moment in the car with her three daughters, Carrie Goodwin decided to open a Bar Method, a boutique fitness studio offering transformative bar classes for all levels. Carrie took her first Bar Method class from founder Burr Leonard in 2008 and was stunned by every aspect of fitness that was so flawlessly seamed together in this methodical, meaningful class. The Bar Method challenged her mind and physical limits like never before and she wanted to share it with her community. 

With a business degree from Utah State University, experience in sales and marketing, and a desire
to positively impact women’s lives, Carrie shortly opened a Bar Method in Salt Lake’s Sugarhouse neighborhood. More than anything, Carrie wants to raise her daughters to understand and see how a woman’s passion, dedication, and hard work can change the world.
