Biography

With nearly 12 years in the Web hosting industry, the most recent 6 years have been spent as Director of Human Resources for UK2 Group, a global web hosting services provider to over 1 million domains around the world. Brian helps oversee HR functions across offices in Logan and Bluffdale Utah, London England, Lviv Ukraine, and India, with over 250 employees world-wide.

Following the acquisition of Logan Utah based WestHost by UK2 Group in 2008, Brian worked as General Manager at WestHost for one year. He was responsible for successfully leading efforts to consolidate UK2’s U.S. offices, and in building a strong foundation in the United States for continued business growth. Prior to UK2’s acquisition, Brian spent five years working as VP of Human Resources and Operations at WestHost. He was responsible for operations of the Customer Service, Billing and Technical Support Departments. He also built and managed all Human Resource functions including benefits, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and policy development.

Before his journey in the Web hosting space, Brian spent 3 years managing general store operations at Walmart in Sheridan Wyoming. Responsibilities included staffing for nearly 500 employees, training, public relations, loss prevention, budgeting and in-store promotions.
Brian completed his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management from Brigham Young University – Hawaii in 2000, following two years at Utah State University.

Brian and his wife Jennifer have 4 amazing children and reside in beautiful Wellsville Utah. He particularly enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports, and being in the great outdoors. Brian has spent the past several years serving on the IT Advisory Committee at Bridgerland Applied Technology College. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Big Blue Scholarship Fund at USU, and he enjoys working with the youth in his community as a Merit Badge Counselor and Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America.
