Lead AIS!


Candidate Expectations:

Time commitment is approximately three hours each week which includes officer meeting, membership meeting, and planning/coordinating activities.  Leadership training is given, usually on Saturdays, which provide opportunities to establish meaningful connections and great friendships.

Officer meetings are held at least once a week.

Positions:

  • President - Oversee and direct other offices. Be liaison between AIS and MIS faculty
  • Vice President - Aid president with directing officers and communicating with MIS faculty
  • Logistics Director - Track AIS finances, enrollment, and meetings are scheduled
  • Internal Communications - Make sure AIS members know what is going on through canvas and emails
  • External communications - Spread the word about AIS to the entire school and network with professionals
  • Employment - Bridge the gap between students and professionals and help students get employed.
  • Technology - Introduce students to the latest and greatest technologies being used
  • Fundraising - Raise funds to perpetuate our chapter
  • Community Service - Plan events for AIS to give back to the community

**The president and adviser can create others positions as they see fit**
