Biography

Ron received his MBA from Oregon State University in 1987, majoring in marketing and information systems and a BS in management in 1985 from Oregon State University, after transferring from Brigham Young University where he completed his first two years of undergraduate work. He began his professional career in the retail industry where he worked as a human resource generalist, manager of executive recruitment and manager of college relations. Ron moved into the IT consulting industry where he became the firm’s first human resource executive. His efforts were so successful that the company hired HR generalists in all 11 offices within two years. Ron moved into the sales side of consulting, where he became the top national sales executive in the industry for two consecutive years, bringing in over $24 million in revenue. He then moved into general management, where he led the efforts to grow a $27 million division and three offices. Ron has led several regions and multiple profit centers for four different IT consulting and staffing firms, where he was instrumental in growing profits to record levels in down economies. Ron and his wife, Melanie, are the parents of three daughters. Ron’s hobbies include nature photography, golf (when he can find the time) and spending as much time with his family as possible.
