When it comes to accounting, graduate students have earned USU a national top-ten ranking. According to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, USU ranked eighth in the nation for students who passed the CPA exam on their first try,

"Only three schools have ever been in the top ten for two consecutive years -- BYU, University of Washington, and Utah State University. In 2008, USU ranked fifth in the country, with 80 percent of students passing." - Larry Walther.

Additionally, Alpha Beta Psi, a national accounting honor society, has earned the Superior Chapter Award for 32 consecutive years -- the longest continuous streak in the nation.
