Non-Resident Tuition Waiver for Excellence - March 2014

The Non-Resident Tuition Waiver for Excellence is a one-year waiver of the non-resident portion of graduate tuition. It is available for all new students applying to USU’s School of Graduate Studies—regardless of program or degree—whose GPA and national competitive exam scores (GRE, GMAT LSAT, Miller, etc.) are above the average of the same admission scores for all current students in the college.

Eligibility for this non-resident tuition waiver will be determined by comparing an applicant’s admission GPA and national test scores to the averages for students enrolled the previous fall in the college to which the student applied. (For students applying for admission in summer or fall 2014, college averages for students enrolled in fall 2013 will “set the bar” for excellence.) An applicant must have an admission GPA greater than the college average, and percentile scores on all relevant parts (e.g., GRE verbal and quantitative) of a national admission test must also be greater than the college average.
