Nate Stephens, Ph.D. graduated in May 2008 from the University of Arizona's Ph.D. program in accounting where he was awarded the Deloitte Foundation Doctoral Fellowship. Prior to his doctoral studies, Nate attended Brigham Young University where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting. He also attended Weber State University where he earned his Associate of Arts degree in general studies. Nate teaches auditing and researches in the areas of auditing, corporate governance and internal controls over financial reporting.
Outside of work, Nate enjoys participating in triathlons, fishing, camping, woodworking, reading and spending time with his family. He is married to Kristie and they have four children.
