Biography

Dr. Simon received his PhD from the University of Georgia in 2008. He received his B.S. (Accounting) and Master of Accountancy degrees from Brigham Young University in 2002 and 2003, respectively. Prior to joining the Huntsman School of Business, Dr. Simon taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research has been published in The Accounting Review and Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory. He and his wife, Jennifer, have five children, two boys and three girls. Dr. Simon enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams, playing golf and basketball, and spending time with family and friends.
